Hey, look! I'm still here!

So, I did some clean up around this blog. I've been rather neglectful of it, but I never promised I'd be anything otherwise. But in my other blogging adventures, I realized I still need some kind of outlet for posts that just don't fit on those other blogs. So, maybe I'll update somewhat regularly again. Maybe not. But at least I updated the blog design. One small step for blogging. One giant leap for DU. Or something not even remotely like that.

Also, I'd just like to put it out there in blogging land that the Magic 8 Ball is a lying liar who lies.

Clusterflake 2010

So thanks to the 4 feet of snow that's been dumped on the Mid-Atlantic/Northeast this past weekend and again today, my office was closed today and will be closed again tomorrow. I'm pulling for closed on Friday, too, because let's face it, a free 5-day weekend pretty much rocks. And this is the face of an animal who is thrilled to have her people home with her:

Go ahead, I dare you to look at that sweet little face and tell her that her people will not be home with her on Friday. Yeah. I didn't think so.

Have you ever posted a post just push a previous post off to the next page? I have, I have! I'm sick of looking at that long "I'm a 7" post a few doors down, so because I have nothing of consequence to say right now, I'm rambling about absolutely nothing. And now I'm done.

I'm a schizoid

At least when it comes to my blog layout. I keep changing it. I just can't find one that suits me and I'm just too damn busy to design one myself. And by busy, I mean lazy. Same diff. Maybe someday I'll get around to it, but until then I'll just keep playing musical blog layouts. Of course, every time I change a layout, I have to redo my widgets, which is a total PITA. Whatevs. At least it gives my scads of loyal readers (snort!) something to look forward to when they drop by, because heaven knows, this is not exactly the most content-rich blog ever written.
